Phantom Roots is an experiential road memoir to honor the Vietnamese diaspora- connecting elements of ancestral landscape with acts of remembrance. Serenaded by grandmother’s beloved folk songs, a first generation Vietnamese-American encounters self through her grandfather’s devotion to Buddhist performance.
