About the 72HR SLMMFC

I developed the New Parkway Theater’s Sleep Less Make More Film Project as a way to tap into the restlessly creative community of Bay Area filmmakers. Its mission was to provide a narrow window of time (3 days) to move through the pre-production, production, and post-production stages of filmmaking. The hope was to catalyze the creative process, weeding out the excess and getting right down to it. As the art director of this community space, I wanted to both engage local artists and celebrate their efforts with a film festival that showcased their tireless collaborations.
